Guests to this exclusive lodge are accommodated in a choice of six Luxury Private Chalets; a Premium Luxury Chalet; and a Luxury Family Suite.The beautifully-appointed, thatched chalets are all carefully positioned to ensure complete privacy and unrestricted views of the active waterhole. All rooms feature a King-sized bed with a fireplace, full en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, air-conditioning, fully-stocked mini-bar, safe, and a coffee and tea station. All the rooms open onto elevated wooden, viewing decks- complete with sparkling private plunge pools.
Rhulani’s thatched main lodge displays the same refined décor, earthy textures and natural materials inspired by the surrounding natural landscape which is evident throughout the luxury chalets. Ancient tree trunks support the vaulted ceilings and large, glass folding doors open onto an expansive wooden deck which offers incredible views of the surrounding bushveld and waterhole. Guests can relax in the comfortable sitting room, choose a good book from the library, or select a souvenir from the well-stocked curio shop. The sparkling lodge swimming pool provides the perfect spot to escape the midday heat and enjoy the utter tranquility of the bushveld, with a refreshing drink in hand.
Guests can look forward to unforgettable early morning and late afternoon game drive experiences in open safari vehicles. These drives are led by experienced guides who willingly share their knowledge and passion for the African wilderness with their guests. Guests can also enjoy bird-watching, stargazing, or they can spend a couple of hours secretly observing wildlife at the underground “Tshembo Hide” situated right at the waterhole.
Delicious meals are served in the open- air boma, under the African night sky, with a roaring fire keeping the winter chill at bay. For those special occasions, enjoy a romantic dinner on your own private deck. The lodge’s traditional Southern African cuisine is complemented by a selection of world-class South African wines.

6 Luxury Private Suites feature a spacious and airy air-conditioned bedroom furnished with a comfortable King-size bed (or twin singles) draped in mosquito netting, as well as a sleeper couch suitable for 1 child under 16 years. The exclusive en-suite bathroom is fitted with an oval bath and a shower. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee station (complete with a Nespresso machine), a fully stocked bar fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, and a Morso fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. Floor to ceiling stackable glass doors open onto a large viewing deck with a secluded outdoor shower, a heated plunge pool, and stunning views of the surrounding bushveld.
The chalet also offers a wireless internet connection, an international power plug and adaptors, and two deckchairs.
The Luxury Private Chalet – Premium is a detached, spacious, thatched bungalow consisting of a light, beautifully appointed bedroom with a King-size bed (or twin singles), and a separate living room (which can also be used as a second bedroom as it features a comfortable sofa-bed suitable for 1 adult or 2 children under 16 years with). The luxurious en-suite bathroom is fitted with an oval bath and a shower. The room is equipped with a tea and coffee station (complete with a Nespresso machine), a fully stocked bar fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, and a Morso fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. Floor to ceiling stackable glass doors open onto a large viewing deck with a secluded outdoor shower, a heated plunge pool, and incredible views of the surrounding bushveld.

Rhulani’s Luxury Family Suite is a well appointed standalone bungalow with two bedrooms and a communal lounge.
Each air-conditioned bedroom is equipped with a King-size bed, or twin singles, draped in mosquito netting and has an en-suite bathroom featuring an oval bath plus an inside and outdoor shower. The comfortable lounge has a sofa and TV, and the suite comes equipped with a tea and coffee station (complete with a Nespresso machine), a fully stocked bar fridge, a safe, a hairdryer, and a Morso fireplace.
The suite also has a wireless internet connection, an international power plug and adaptors, and four deckchairs on the private terrace with its secluded heated plunge pool.
The suite sleeps 4 adults in the two main bedrooms, and 2 children under 16 years can be added and will sleep on a roll-away stretcher bed.
