Etali Safari Lodge is a luxurious small private safari lodge blending in with the surrounding nature. The lodge can accommodate a total of 20 guests in 8 luxury suites plus a ninth family suite (2 rooms), which is set apart from each other for total privacy. All suites have a private sun deck fitted with a heated whirlpool, with a spectacular view of the surrounding bush. The Family suite is slightly smaller however the two rooms are bigger than one free standing suite. It has no outside showers and only one whirl pool for the two rooms, a shared deck and a bigger plunge pool. Extra beds can be provided in the suites to accommodate children sharing with parents.
Etali Safari Lodge offers game drives with highly skilled Rangers (Field Guides) to enhance your experience and knowledge of the bush. Safari game drives are conducted in an open vehicle specially designed to ensure your comfort and safety.
A maximum of eight people in the vehicle ensure that you receive the guide’s individual attention and enjoy an unforgettable experience in the African bush.
Etali’s field guides have undergone intensive training and have an in depth knowledge of African flora, fauna, natural history and ecology. The guides are not only sensitive towards the needs of their guests, but also towards the bush and its inhabitants, ensuring that guests receive an ecologically sound and informative experience.
Game drive times are flexible. Spontaneous drives may also go out in response to animal activity near the lodge. If lions roar near the camp during dinner, expect an invitation from your guide to go into the night in search of them.
3 of the Luxury suites have direct views of the waterhole at the main lodge. These cannot be pre-booked. A wheelchair accessible suite is for guests with limited mobility.
The family suite offers 2 back-to-back rooms with a shared deck and no inter-leading door. The family suite includes all facilities of the luxury suites along with a larger shared deck, swimming pool and private lapa.

Hidden in riverside forest, the eight luxurious suites, each with glass-walled bedrooms, overlook the Marico River, offering uninterrupted views of the surrounding bush.
The suites have open-fronted lounges, private sundecks and spacious bathrooms that can be opened to the forest.
The lodge has an infinity-edge swimming pool, gym, health and beauty treatment centre and lookout point with magnificent views.
Hidden deep in the bush on the lodge's private ground is a secure, raised hide with a second-storey sleeping deck.

Gate fees to be paid directly at the lodge. R180 per adult and R 80 per child (u12) per stay
For guests Flying into Madikwe gate fee will be R 240 per adult and R 150 per child per stay.
There will be a supplement of 50% on the per person sharing rate for all single accommodation

A Minimum stay 2 nights may be required on some specials.
Lunch is not included on the day of arrival. Should guests wish to arrive earlier and require lunch (between 13h00 & 14h00) this has to be pre-booked and paid at the lodge direct.
